Hey, anyone planning on riding in the morning?

The roads are still salty, and there can be ice on the shadows, butI still want to ride.

We are a bunch going tomorrow. I asked on Facebook and many answered. It is going to be a great winter day for a ride.

At 60 degrees I don't think we have much problem with the ice. If you can I think it would be a beautiful day to ride see all of you tomorrow 9 a.m. at the lookout.

I went to Caskkill today weather was great . the roads r fine ...not too much ice tomoorw should be better  but there is a lot of salt around have fun guys

Here is my ride inspired poem. It needs another verse or 2, and an ending.
Feel free to add to it. MJ

5 of 20 riders set out to follow Sir Lawrence to Sussex diner.
Through twisty forest, over mountain top.
That "Road Closed" sign, just a suggestion.

Trails and rails on the road, not for trains;
Formed by cars passing over salted pavement.
So pick your line, don't deviate from it.

Salt, gravel, sand, dirt, water, what's that?
Stick to the outside, no, the inside, no the middle.
"No, I didn't see that "Iron Mountain road" sign.

Cyclists, hikers, walkers, squirrels;
All looking to be roadkill;
One succeeded.

Frozen lakes remind us that it's still winter.
Welsh, Greenwood, Highland;
It's beautiful to be a part of this scenery.
